Das bin ich. That’s me. C’est moi.<\/p>\n

\nWillkommen bei Milchbutterk\u00e4se! Mein Name ist Sabine und ich bin gerade dabei, meinen Wohnort von Stuttgart zur\u00fcck nach Lindau zu verlegen. Da bin ich aufgewachsen, da ist es sch\u00f6n und da wohnt vor allen Dingen mein Ehemann. Nach f\u00fcnf Jahren Fernbeziehung haben wir beschlossen, diesem Zustand ein Ende zu setzen. Dem \u00bbFern\u00ab, nicht der Beziehung nat\u00fcrlich!<\/p>\n

Im Moment bin ich ein Wanderer zwischen den Welten. In n\u00e4chster Zeit wird es viel zum Entr\u00fcmpeln und Versch\u00f6nern geben. Seid dabei wenn Ihr m\u00f6gt!<\/p>\n

Au\u00dferdem mache ich Dinge gerne selbst. Stricken, N\u00e4hen, Sachenmachen aus Papier und Backen sind meine Lieblingst\u00e4tigkeiten. In Lindau wartet auch ein gro\u00dfer Garten auf mich. Ein ganz neues Bet\u00e4tigungsfeld, vor dem ich etwas Respekt habe. (Meine Zimmerpflanzen bekommen Panik bei diesem Gedanken.)<\/p>\n

Wohin sich dieser Blog genau entwickelt \u2014 da lasse ich mich selbst \u00fcberraschen. Ich freue mich, wenn ihr ab und zu vorbeischaut!<\/p>\n

was dann geschah:<\/p>\n

Mittlerweile bin ich wieder voll und ganz in meiner alten Heimat angekommen. Mit dem Renovieren kommen wir nicht so schnell voran wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben. Hier sieht es fast noch so aus wie vor vier Jahren. Das liegt daran, dass uns das Leben dazwischen gekommen ist. Dinge, die wir gar nicht auf dem Plan hatten.<\/p>\n

Herr K. hat jetzt seine eigene Schreinerei und ist 2. Vorsitzender im Zeughausverein Lindau. Im Dezember 2015 haben wir zusammen mit 8 anderen Kunsthandwerkern einen wundersch\u00f6nen kleinen Laden er\u00f6ffnet. Die Handlung.<\/a> Ich habe eine Stelle in meinem alten Beruf als Bekleidungsingenieurin gefunden. Und trotzdem habe ich die M\u00f6glichkeit jetzt dann schon in der dritten Saison bei den Bregenzer Festspielen zu arbeiten.<\/p>\n

Meine Tage sind also ganz sch\u00f6n vielf\u00e4ltig und abwechslungsreich, und daf\u00fcr bin ich sehr, sehr dankbar.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Welcome to Milchbutterk\u00e4se (milkbuttercheese in english)! My name is Sabine and I’m about to move from Stuttgart back to my hometown Lindau near Lake Constance in the very south of Germany. That’s where I grew up, where it is very beautiful and where my husband lives in the first place. After five years of long-distance relationship we decided to end this state. The distance, not the relationship obviously!<\/address>\n
Currently I’m a wanderer between worlds. There is a lot of decluttering and improvement to be done. Join me, if you like!<\/address>\n
Besides, I like to make things myself. Knitting, sewing, making things from paper and baking are my favorite things to do. In Lindau there is also a big garden waiting for me. A whole new area, of which I admit I have no clue and some respect. (My indoor plants are panicking at this thought.)<\/address>\n
I let surprise myself where this blog is going to develop. I’m happy if you drop in from time to time!<\/address>\n

What happend next:<\/address>\n
In the meantime I have arrived completely in Lindau. The improvement of our home didn’t go as fast as we had imagined. It looks pretty much the same as it did four years ago. Well, not exactly, but we are doing baby steps here. The reason why: life happend to us. Some things we didn’t expect at all. Mr. K. is now selfemployed. I found a job in my former profession as a clothing engineer. Together with 8 other crafts and arts people we opend a lovely little shop: Die Handlung.<\/a> („Handlung“ has different meanings: It’s a shop, but is can also be a plot or an action. And it also has the word „hand“ in it. And that’s what we do: Making things by our hands.)
\nAnd in addition to my regular job I have the opportunity to work for the opera festival in Bregenz in summer. <\/p>\n

My days are full and diversified, and I am very, very grateful for it.
